Neu Ardennes is the capital and largest city of Lichtenberg. The city was established around an old fort and was named after the European Ardennes which bear a striking similarity to the city and its surroundings, such as the many forests and rural villages that dot the landscape. Over the centuries it has presided over Lichtenberg at its greatest expanse, and also at its smallest. And still today, as Lichtenberg remains but a modest principality, it retains the grace and authority it has long held. (More to be posted soon)

I love this aspect of German geography and that is why I find parts of the country to be so beautiful. Images of the forested regions of Europe are breathtaking. I'm glad to see it making an impression on Holzer geography and Lichtenberg specifically. Also, I look forward to the development of this region because from what I've read so far it sounds very interesting. This reminds me- I would appreciate if you could write a very short description of your territory for the board. I think the blank space does not do Lichtenberg justice!
