To Herr Drosselmeyer In the matter of Application for Commission in Armed Forces Your application is hereby approved. Congratulations, you are now a Oberfähnrich in the Kaiserlich Heer. You are hereby assigned to the Imperial Officer Training Battalion, an administrative holding battalion for Armed Forces members training to be officers. Prepare yourself for a course at Bismarkin Führungsakademie, after which you shall be awarded a Commission based on your abilities demonstrated throughout the course. I have the utmost confidence in your success. Yours, Johann BoyenJohann Boyen von Beiersdorf-Freudenberg Minister of War Reihenfolge, Solidarität und WahrheitOOC: In case you didn't realise, this is just RP. You are already guaranteed the position of Divisional Leader of the Panzerkorps. Do you see any other applicants? I shall begin writing up the commissioning scroll immediately, but I would still like to "interview you" informally and at the same time discuss/develop tactical ideas with regard to armoured warfare. Is this OK for you?

OOC: This is a most fortunate application just when we are considering a vast investment of time and thought in improving our Air Force. I know very little about aerial combat myself so you are most welcome here. In fact, if you would not mind, could you lead a lesson (could just be one post) on Aerial Warfare in this month's class? Usually I would just make a post about it despite knowing very little and let you contradict me and make me look stupid, but I think this would be a more effective approach.

To Herr Chrysller In the matter of Application for Enlistment in Armed Forces Your application is hereby approved. Since you have opted not to apply for an Officer's Commission, you do not have to take any classes to receive your rank and insignia. You are now a Oberstabsfeldwebel in the Kaiserlich Heer. You are hereby assigned to the I Corps, 1st Division; please report at its Headquarters in Wilhelmshaven to receive more specific assignements from General-Lieutenant von Steinmetz there. I strongly recommend that you review the classes in the Bismarkin Führungsakademie. The Officer Corps is always looking for new recruits and if you think you have what it takes, do apply. I have the utmost confidence in your success. Yours, Johann BoyenJohann Boyen von Beiersdorf-Freudenberg Minister of War Reihenfolge, Solidarität und WahrheitOOC: I presume by your choice not to become an officer you do not want to be an active part of the armed forces in peace time? This is fine, just want to make sure. In times of war you will likely receive a Brevet (temporary) promotion to lead larger groups of troops into the field, but as an official NCO you will still be getting orders from officers and so on. That said, as a Oberstabsfeldwebel you may still occasionally drafted in for exercises et cetera during peace time. If any of this sounds wrong, do speak out. By the end of January I want to have a firm grip on exactly what I'm looking at in terms of an active General Staff.

OOC: Good good, I'm very happy that you took the time to apply as a enlisted soldier despite not opting for the officer programme. Just making sure like I say.
