CONSTITUTION OF THE PRINCELY GOVERNMENT

We, William the First, Sovereign Prince of Lüdenberg and Augustusburg, Prince of Altenberg, of Mulgaria, and of Hohenzollern, Duke of Köthen, of Limburg and of Anhalt, Count of Dessau and Lübeck, Sovereign of the House of Altenberg-Lübeck proclaim to all whom shall read this, greetings.

We, William the First, Sovereign Prince of Lüdenberg and Augustusburg, Prince of Altenberg, of Mulgaria, and of Hohenzollern, Duke of Köthen, of Limburg and of Anhalt, Count of Dessau and Lübeck, Sovereign of the House of Altenberg-Lübeck proclaim to all whom shall read this, greetings.

First Section – General Provisions
Article 1:
I. The official name of the Nation shall be the Principality of Lüdenberg and in German shall be Fürstentum Lüdenberg.
II. The Government of the Principality of Lüdenberg shall be a Hereditary Monarchy.
III. The national religion of the Principality of Lüdenberg shall be Lutheranism.
Article 2: Head of State
I. The Head of State of the Principality of Lüdenberg shall be the Sovereign Prince styled His Royal Highness and with the title Prince (Fürst) of Lüdenberg and Augustusburg.
II. The Full style of the Prince shall be Sovereign Prince of Lüdenberg and Augustusburg, Prince of Altenberg, of Mulgaria, and of Hohenzollern, Duke of Köthen, of Limburg and of Anhalt, Count of Dessau and Lübeck, Sovereign of the House of Altenberg-Lübeck.
Article 3: Symbols of the Nation
I. The Flag of the Principality of Lüdenberg shall be a Yellow and black horizontal Tri-color.
II. The Coat of Arms of the Principality shall be that of the House of Altenberg-Lübeck.
III. The Capital of the Principality of Lüdenberg shall be the City of Augustusburg.
Second Section – Government
Article 4: Sovereign Prince of Lüdenberg
I. The Sovereign Prince of Lüdenberg shall have absolute executive power over the Government of Lüdenberg.
II. The Sovereign Prince has the power to appoint a First Minister who serves as the head of the Government of Lüdenberg.
III. The Sovereign Prince can call and dismiss any Parliament he wishes.
IV. The Sovereign Prince can issue Decrees which have the power of laws and Orders.
V. The Sovereign Prince can appoint titles of nobility.
VI. The Sovereign Prince can bestow orders of chivalry on persons.
VII. The Sovereign Prince can edit this constitution by decree.
VIII. The Sovereign Prince can appoint an heir of whom ever he wishes.
Article 5: Council of State
I. The Council of State is the supreme body of ministers and appointees whom advise the Prince on all maters of state.
II. The head of the Council of state shall be the First Minister.
III. The government ministries shall compose of;
a. Ministry of State
i. Foreign Office
ii. Home Office
b. Ministry of Tourism and Information
c. Ministry of Defense
d. Ministry of Justice
Article 6: First Minister
I. The First Minister is appointed and Dismissed by the Sovereign Prince to act as head of the Government.
II. The First Minister is the overseer of all government ministries.
III. The First Minister can act as head of state if the Sovereign Prince is incapable of performing duties herewith.
Third Section – Citizens
Article 7: Citizenship
I. A Citizen is defied as a membership in the political and social community of the Principality of Lüdenberg
Article 8: Obtaining Citizenship
I. One can obtain citizenship by the following means;
a. Being born on Lüdenberg soil.
b. Being born to at least one Lüdenberger parent.
c. Being naturalized.
d. Being granted honorary citizenship.
Article 9: Rights of Citizens
I. All citizens are granted the right of Free speech.
II. All citizens are granted the right to Freedom of religion.
III. All citizens are granted equal rights to hold an office in the Nation.
IV. All citizens are granted the right to have a fair and just trial.
V. All citizens have the right to serve in the National defense force.
Fourth Section – Amendments
Article 10: Amending the Constitution
I. The Constitution can only be amended;
a. The Sovereign Prince can amended or add to the constitution by Princely Decree.
b. The First minister with approval from the Prince.
c. When a House of Nobility sits, a 2/3rd majority can add amendments.
d. The Council of State can amend the constitution with 2/3rds majority vote.
e. A national Referendum with a majority vote.

Be it enacted by His Royal Highness the Sovereign Prince of Lüdenberg, Given at Lübeck Palace, Augustusburg in the Two-Thousand and Eighth year of our lord and in the First year of our Reign.
