Name : Lukas Jaeger Age : 28 (in sim); 19(RL) Place of Residence : Hindendorff Email : zanderson889@yahoo.com Other Citizenships : Alexandria
What position would you like in Holzborg?Minister of Transportation? I enjoy working with setting up transportation systems. Plus I have an interest in Zeppelins/Airships. Also interested in cultural work and possibly work with the church.
How will you help advance Holzborg? I am studying history at university and find German history/culture and I am learning how to speak German as well. I have pretty good picture editing skills which are invaluable in this hobby. In addition, I'm a pretty decent map-maker.

Greetings Herr Jaeger. Welcome to the Holzer Empire! My name is Johann Boyen, I am President of the Confederation, Warlord of Holzborg and Arch-Steward (essentially Kaiser pro tempore - my RP character would not fit in with the Kaiserial throne). It's good to see another Alexandrian here on Holzborg's forum- as you may be aware, Prince Augusto de Corcovado recently made a diplomatic visit and we all found him to be very pleasant and an altogether very agreeable gentleman. He made quite an impression for your nation. Citizenship application approvedAll of your interests excite me greatly and I am very glad to see you here. The infrastructure of the state is really important and yet we lack a set-in-stone system. A Ministry for Transport would be a great idea. Also, airships are very cool and I would like to see some Holzer designs. Picture editing skills are good to hear of. This may sound quite ridiculous, but I have a request of you. Do you see the images on the front page? Here is an example: I rather like them and would like to keep them, but would also like for there to be more. I'm not asking you to design any more- merely I would ask could you help me identify the bloomin' font! It's driving me nuts! I digress. Welcome to Holzborg, as a citizen. If you would like, you could take over Hindendorff? It's essentially devoid of any development, a blank slate for you to work with. And any questions- feel free to ask.

Thank you for the warm welcome, gentlemen! I'm very excited to become a part of this nation. I'd love to be some sort of Minister of Transportation for the empire. With the proper maps, I could work on setting up road, rail, sea, and air ways throughout our country. I'd more than enjoy taking over Hindendorff and working with it's clean slate. I'll probably set up an airship works there and try to have some designs within the next few weeks.
As for the font...your guess is probably as good as mine. At first glance, it appears to possibly be 'Arial'. Oh, and if you need pictures, let me know, because I just returned from spending 2 weeks in Germany on a trip with my universiy.
Avian, thanks for the welcome. I look forward to working with you gentlemen in building this nation.

Decree No. 14 affirms you as both Fürst zu Hindendorff and Transport Minister. I will create a forum shortly. I am very impressed by the initiatives you suggest. Photos would be cool- have you got any nice ones we could use? (And Arial. I'll experiment.

I'm very pleased to hear of your enthusiasm. As for pictures, any of the following would be useful to me personally and I'm sure other citizens would appreciate them: -Castles, palaces- exteriors mainly, but any interior shots would be good too -Fields and forests- scenes of natural beauty -Any smaller villages, roads etc. that can represent the "off the beaten track" side of Holzborg

Well, I've got palaces and castles for sure. As for the other...I might have some, but I was mostly in Frankfurt and Berlin, so I've got more city shots.

Cities would be nice. Preferably buildings- perhaps a mix of older buildings and newer ones? Just please, no 60's monstrosities.
