Holzgerlingen Castle Schloss Holzgerlingen, or Holzgerlingen Castle, is a famous fort situated in the capital of the Grand Duchy of Presburg. It is home to the Duke and his family, his servants as well as especially close advisors and courtiers. In this way, it can be quite busy, but there is always time for the Duke to see his subjects in the Ducal Throne Room. Built around the 13th century, as a medieval castle it has stood the test of time well and remains a luxurious hospitable construction. Inside, great water pipes and fires heat each room, and in the Duchess Katharina Ball Room (named after a social wife of a past Duke) great dinners are held for guests from across the Empire. Schloss Holzgerlingen has often hosted even the Emperor and many Princes. The grounds which surround the main building and walls are known for their beautiful gardens and sports facilities such as tennis courts and swimming pools which the Grand Duke makes good use of. On one day a year, he permits all his subjects to enjoy these facilities alongside any public facilities that are in the Grand Duchy. Edit: I noticed, this was our 100th thread and 300th post! Yay!
